Job Title: Pearson VUE Test Proctor
Position Summary:
As a Pearson VUE Test Proctor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our testing center by providing excellent customer service, overseeing exam sessions, and upholding strict security measures. You will be responsible for efficiently managing a high volume of appointments, verifying candidate identification, and closely monitoring exam sessions to maintain integrity and security standards.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Customer Service:
• Greet candidates warmly and assist them with any inquiries or concerns in a friendly and professional manner.
• Provide guidance to candidates regarding exam procedures, policies, and technical requirements.
• Address candidate issues promptly and effectively to ensure a positive testing experience.
Appointment Management:
• Efficiently handle a high volume of appointments, approximately 20 per session, while maintaining organization and adherence to scheduling protocols.
Candidate Verification:
• Verify candidate identification documents according to Pearson VUE's strict guidelines and procedures.
• Ensure the accuracy of candidate information and registration details in the Pearson VUE system.
Exam Monitoring:
• Conduct thorough pre-exam checks to ensure the testing environment meets Pearson VUE's standards for security and comfort.
• Monitor exam sessions closely to prevent cheating or misconduct, while also maintaining a supportive and non-intrusive presence.
• Respond promptly to any irregularities or technical issues that may arise during exams, following established protocols for resolution.
Administrative Tasks:
• Maintain accurate records of candidate attendance, exam sessions, and any incidents or concerns that occur during testing.
• Complete administrative tasks such as processing candidate registrations, and reports as required by AIU#3 and Pearson VUE protocols
Qualifications:
1. High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree preferred.
2. Previous experience in customer service, administration, or a related field is desirable.
3. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with diverse individuals.
4. Attention to detail and the ability to follow strict procedures and guidelines.
5. Proficiency in basic Microsoft Office computer skills and familiarity with office software
applications.
6. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
7. Willingness to adhere to Pearson VUE's code of conduct and uphold the integrity of the testing process.
