Head Start: Teacher Penn Hills Linton II
- B.A. or B.S. in Early Childhood Education/equivalent degree with experience teaching preschool-aged children preferred; OR
B.A./B.S. in a related field including 30 ECE credits with experience teaching preschool-aged children required; OR
B.A./B.S. in Elementary Education and 18 ECE credits with experience teaching preschool-aged children required; OR
B.A. /B.S. with ECE Certification with experience teaching preschool-aged children required - Knowledge and skills in the field of early childhood development
- Knowledge of Office of Head Start Performance Standards of Early Childhood
- Knowledge of various service resources in the community
- Knowledge of the state and federal regulations pertaining to child abuse and neglect and childcare licensing requirements
- Knowledge of local resources, languages and customs
Additional Requirements:
1. Current Act 114, Act 34, Act 151 and NSOR required prior to an offer (Must be dated within 1 year of hire date).
2. School Personnel Health Record (Form H511.340) must be completed and received by Human Resources prior to hire date.

Position Schedule: This is a full-time, 200-day calendar position, August to June.
Salary: $36,848.00 ($23.03/hour) (non-negotiable) (2024-2025)
