Head Start: Teacher Assistant Brentwood
1. Education: Minimum of a CDA credential or a state-awarded certificate that meets or exceeds the requirements for a CDA credential, are enrolled in a program that will lead to an associate or baccalaureate degree or, are enrolled in a CDA credential program to be completed within two years of the time of hire
2. One (1) year experience working with preschool-aged children preferred.
Additional Requirements:
1. Current Act 114, Act 34, Act 151 and NSOR clearances are required prior to an offer (Must be dated within 1 year of hire date).
2. School Personnel Health Record (Form H511.340) must be completed and received by Human Resources prior to hire date.

• Be able to sit or stand for extended periods of time

• Be able to kneel, crouch, bend and reach to retrieve and handle teaching materials and supplies and interact and facilitate the learning of the students
• Be able to speak clearly and distinctly when communicating
• Be able to hear clearly
• Adequate vision to perform duties

Salary: $26,320.00 ($16.45/hour) (non-negotiable) (2024-2025)
